"Karelskaya Gornitsa" also invite you to the School of Experts at Cooking.

Lessons at this school are given the Head Chef of the restaurant Tarmo Vasenius. You may not only develop your skills at cooking at this lessons, but you can also learn how to cook different traditional Karelian dishes

Workshops are held in "Karelskaya Gornitsa". You will be provided with everything necessary.

The school of experts at Cooking is the project which teaches you to invent new dishes using well-known ingredients.

All the recipes are easy to understand, the ingredients are available in Petrozavodsk.

That's why lessons at our "School of Experts at Cooking" are not only fascinating, but also useful.

On the 16-th of October Tarmo Vasenius taught his "students" at "The School of Experts at Cooking". They were happy to cook vegetable salad with special sauce and grilled pork together with Head Chef of the restaurant Tarmo Vasenius.

The atmosphere was friendly and all the dishes were a success!

Marius Stravinskiy (the conductor of the Karelian State Symhony Orchestra): "The lesson impressed me greatly! I followed Tarmo's advice after that and bought a new frying pan. Now I cook for my family and friends. They are struck by my abilities. But I feel that is not enough. I am waiting for another one. We have already come to the conclusion that next time we are going to cook fish and we'll develop our skills!"

On the 5-th of December the Head Chef of the Restaurant Tarmo Vasenius showed his guests how to cook some new dishes. The dishes were quite different. But this time the appetizers made from the Onego lake white fish and the so-called "kalitky" were especially good!

"The School of Experts at Cooking" is developing. The member of students becomes larger and larger.

On the 16-th of January Tarmo Vasenius taught his guests to cook salmon, fried in cognac. It turned out that it was not difficult at all.

On the 21-st of March Tarmo Vasenius and his students cooked appetizers and the main dish from the game dish.

On the 10-th of April Tarmo taught his guests to cook female quails with cream-and-cognac sauce and a special kind of cakes, called "tartaletki" filled with apples and cinnamon. After a lesson all the participants tasted the dishes they had cooked.
